Yes, you heard right. I played bingo today and won. This afternoon at Milwaukee’s Irish Fest, Snow Monkey and I took a break from the heat by playing bingo with about 100 other people. Or rather, I played bingo while Snow Monkey watched, as he doesn’t really like the game. After I won $12.50 on my second round, however, I think he started to see the bingo light.

In addition to playing bingo, we listened to a couple of cool bands, cheered on the Celtic Canines as they ran through the agility course, and watched the world champion Trinity Irish dancers strut their stuff. For a more detailed account of today’s activities, see Snow Monkey’s post.
